After collision, the two bodies move together. What is the magnitude and direction of final velocity acquired by them? 17) A shell of mass $10\mathrm{kg}$ flying horizontally with a velocity of $36\mathrm{kmph}$ explodes in air in to two fragments. The larger fragment has a velocity of $25\mathrm{m}/\mathrm{s}$ and is directed in the same direction as the initial velocity of shell. The smaller fragment has a velocity of $12.5\mathrm{m}/\mathrm{s}$ in the opposite direction. Find the masses of the fragments.
