The relation between is given as
…(i)
If is negative, so comes out to be positive. Again, relation between and is given as
...(ii)
From Eq. (i) we get that is positive . Now , if is positive then comes out to be negative from eq (ii).
i.e
Short trick As is negative so reaction is non-spontaneous or you can say reaction is moving in backward direction. For non-spontaneous reaction. is always positive and is always less than 1.
