The gall bladder is the small storage organ which is present in lower and upper to the liver. Gall bladder plays an important role in the digestion of food. Bile is produced by the liver and it is temporarily stored in the gall bladder. Bile contains bile acids which are helpful for the digestion and absorption of fats in the small intestine.
