The resistance of the coil is

100Ω

The voltage supplied to the coil is

240 V

The peak voltage supplied to the coil is given by:

V_{o} = 2 V

The maximum current through the coil is given by:

I_{o} = \frac{V _{o}}{R ^{2} + ω ^{2} L ^{2}}

I_{o} = \frac{2 \times 240}{1 0 ^{4} + ( 100 π \times 0.5 ) ^{2}}

I_{o} = 1.3 \times 1 0^{- 2} A

The relation between the time lag and the inductance nad resistance of the coil is:

t an ϕ = \frac{ω L}{R}

t an ϕ = \frac{2 π \times 50 \times 0.5}{100}

t an ϕ = 1.571

\Rightarrow ϕ = 57. 5^{o}

ω t = 57.5 π /180

\Rightarrow t = 3.19 \times 1 0^{- 3} s
