Pitcher plant (Napenthes) is an insectivores plant, which is chlorophyllus and capable of trapping solar radiations for chemical energy for photosynthesis. It is insectivorous plant which are produced in the soil lacking nitrogen thus to make up their nitrogen deficiency they trap insects.
