Fructose-1-phospahte then undergoes aldolase reaction in the presence of fructose-1-phosphate aldolase forms glyceraldehydes and dihydroxy-acetone phosphate (DHAP). Glyceraldehyde undergoes dehydrogenation process in the presence of alcohol dehydrogenase forms glycerol.
