Answer: When hot water cools down, initially its temperature falls at a higher rate but later the rate of fall of temperature decreases. So, for every two minutes, the temperature difference would be greater in starting and will decrease with time. Therefore, we can say that (t− t2) > (t t4) > (t5 − t6). 

Hence, the correct answer is option 1.
