Δ E = - g μ_{B} B M_{2}

with

. The interval between neighboring components is then given by

B = \frac{ℏΔ ω}{g μ _{B}}

Now for the

term

g = 1 + \frac{1 \times 2 + 1 \times 2 - 2 \times 3}{2 \times 1 \times 2} = 1 + \frac{4 - 6}{4} = \frac{1}{2}

Substitution gives
