Volume is conserved when the water droplet is divided into 8 smaller droplets.
Let R and r be the radii of the bigger droplet and smaller droplets respectively.
From volume conservation:
The pressure difference between surfaces is where T is the surface tension and r is the radius of the drop( since there are two surfaces for a water, it is multiplied by an extra factor of 2 )
Pressure difference from droplet of radius R
Pressure difference from droplet of radius r

Question 1
Two metal spheres of densities in the ratio and diameter in the ratio are released from rest in two vertical liquid columns of coefficients of viscosity in the ratio . If the viscous force on them is the same then the ratio of their instantaneous velocities is :Question 2
A powder comprising particles of various sizes is stirred up in a vessel filled to a height of 10 cm with water. Assuming the particles to be spherical, find the size of the largest particle that will remain in suspension after 1 h (density of powder = 4 , viscosity of water = 0.01 poise).
