The number of times the digit $5$ will be written while listing the integers from $1$ to $1000$ is $xyz$ then the value of $(x+y+z)$ is equal to

**Solution: **$1+9+8+1+9×9+8×9+9+9+8+1$$⇒271times$

$∴xyz=271$

$∴x=2;y=7;z=1$

$∴x+y+z=2+7+1$

$x+y+z=10 $
