If A.M of two numbers be twice their G.M then the numbers are in the ratio

- $2:3 $
- $2+3 :2−3 $
- $2+5 :2−5 $
- 2:7

Given condition is A.M of two numbers be twice their G.M

So $2a+b =2ab $

After simplification we get a quadratic equation in $ba $ as

$4x_{2}−17x+4=0$ where $x=ba $

We get the solution for $x$ as $7+43 $ i.e $2−3 2+3 $

Hence, option 'B' is correct.
