(d): Let ABCD be the rhombus of perimeter 80 m and diagonal AC=24m We have, AB+BC+CD+DA=80 ⇒4AB=80 [∴A.B=BC=CD=DA ] ⇒AB=20m In ΔABC, we have 2s=AB+BC+AC=20+20++24=64 ⇒s=32 ∴Δ1=AreaofΔABC=32×12×12×8−−−−−−−−−−−−−√=16×12=192m2 Hence, area of rhombus ABCD=2×192m2=384m2.
