Reduce the equation $2x−3y+5z+4=0$ to intercept form and find the intercepts made by it on the coordinate axes.

The equation of the plane whose intercepts are $a,b,c$ on the $x,y,z$ axes respectively is $ax +by +cz =1,(abc=0)$

The given equation may be written as $−2x+3y−5z=4$.

$⇒4(−2x) +43y +4(−5z) =1$

$⇒−2x +34 y +5−4 z =1$.

$∴$ the required intercepts are $−2,34 ,5−4 $.
