It is expected that by the third week of July 2021 IIT Kharagpur will release JEE Advanced 2021 Result online at jeeadv.ac.in. The official date however is yet to be disclosed. To get their result, the candidates have to enter their Registration Number and DOB to view their JEE Advanced Rank and Score.

Important dates for the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) will also be released soon. Candidates who qualify JEE Advanced 2021 will be eligible for admission in IITs. The counselling for the JEE Mains and JEE Advanced Rank Holders is organised by JoSAA.

JEE Advanced 2021 Result - Important Dates

IT is expected that IIT Kharagpur will announce the result for the JEE Advanced 2021 by the 3rd week of July. The JEE advanced 2021 is scheduled to held on 3rd July 2021.

After the JEE Advanced 2021 Result, the process for AAT 2021- will begin after the JEE Advanced 2021 result is released.

How to Check JEE Advanced 2021 Result

Here is the procedure to check the JEE Advanced 2021 result:

  • Visit the official website of JEE Advanced to check the rank. The results will be declared at jeeadv.ac.in.
  • Log into the account using the Registration Number, Date of Birth, Mobile Number and Email Address.
  • Download the result and keep it for further use.

The Result consists of the following details:
  • JEE Advanced 2021 Registration Number
  • JEE Advanced 2021 Roll Number
  • Name and Date of Birth of the Candidate
  • Common Rank List (CRL) Rank/Status of Qualifying
  • Score in all 3 sections
  • Total score in JEE Advanced 2021
JEE Advanced Score Calculation

Candidates have to appear for both the papers of JEE Advanced to be considered for the Common Rank List (CRL). Marks obtained in Paper 1 and Paper 2 are taken into consideration while the rank is calculated by the concerned authorities.

Sample:

Marks obtained in Physics = Marks obtained in Paper 1 (Physics) + Marks obtained in Paper 2 (Physics)

Similarly, the total marks for Mathematics and Chemistry are to be calculated. Aggregate marks for JEE

Advanced 2021 will be calculated using the following formula:

Aggregate Marks/Scores obtained in JEE Advanced = Aggregate marks in (Physics + Mathematics + Chemistry)

The rank list of JEE Advanced 2021 is to be prepared based on the aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance examination. Only candidates who score the minimum prescribed marks in each subject and in aggregate will be included in the rank list.

What is the JEE Advanced Tie- Breaker Policy?

In case of a clash between two or more candidates in terms of their aggregate marks, then the following tie resolving policy shall be used:

  • Aspirants with higher positive ranks will be given a higher rank.
  • Aspirants with greater marks in mathematics will be given a higher rank.
  • Aspirants with greater marks in Physics will be given a higher rank.
  • If the tie situation still continues, then it will be resolved by assigning the same ranks to the candidates.
JEE Advanced Answer Key

IIT Kharagpur will release the Answer key to the JEE Advanced 2021. The responses marked by the candidates as recorded during the exam will be available for them to view, download and print from the candidate portal on the official website i.e., jeeadv.ac.in. Candidates can also send feedback on answer keys through the portal. With the announcement of JEE Advanced result, the final frozen answer keys and minimum marks for inclusion in the rank list will be published at the official portal. JEE Advanced 2021 Counselling
The counselling procedures for the selection of candidates after the result will be carried out by the JoSSA. Candidates will be admitted into IITs and other affiliated institutes. The allotted the college and branch as per their choice but in accordance with their AIR.

Eligibility Criteria for JEE Advanced 2021 Counselling

Candidates should note that the counselling will be conducted for only those candidates whose rank is under the ambit of the rank released by various colleges.

  • They are required to have obtained at least 75% aggregate marks in class 12th or equivalent board exam. For candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwD categories, the aggregate marks required for admission is 65%.
  • For admission in IITs, the candidates must be within the category-wise top 20 percentile of successful candidates in their respective class 12th or equivalent board exam.
JEE Advanced AAT 2021
After the declaration of the result for the JEE Advanced, candidates can register for Architecture
Aptitude Test 2021 at jeeadv.ac.in. Only candidates who have qualified in JEE Advanced can register for AAT.
  • The Registration for AAT 2021 is expected to begin in the second week of June, 2021.
  • Exam date for the Architecture Aptitude Test will be released by the concerned authority.
  • There is no separate ranking and cut off in AAT.
  • The allotment of seats will be carried out on category-wise All India Ranks in JEE Advanced 2021.
